Devon Holstad is a litigator with a principal focus on high-stakes complex commercial litigation. His experience includes representing clients across a wide range of spectrums with a focus on media and entertainment, product liability, and shareholder disputes. He has represented clients in federal and state courts across the country at all phases of litigation, including at the trial and on appeal.
Prior to joining Novack and Macey LLP, Devon practiced at large firms in New York City where he represented small companies, large corporations, and individuals in multi-million dollar business disputes, including numerous copyright and trademark matters as well as bet-the-company shareholder and other corporate disputes.
Devon graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. While at Michigan he participated in the Michigan Innocence Clinic, where he advocated for innocent clients who were wrongfully convicted. Devon received his undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Political Science magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago. At Loyola, Devon participated on the Loyola Mock Trial team, which he now coaches. Devon also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Mock Trial Association.
