We are proud to sponsor Marillac St. Vincent’s Career Day program on Saturday, February 8, 2020, being held at the Foglia Family & Youth Center. The program will provide Marillac students with the opportunity to interact with successful professionals including attorneys, teachers, filmmakers/producers, television news anchors, Chicago police officers, and professional athletes who have all overcome social and economic challenges. Some of these professionals have attended community college, are working towards finishing their bachelor's, or have professional degrees and will be sharing their educational and career experiences.

Attorney Brittney Cato is the President of the Marillac’s Associate Board and developed this program specifically for Marillac’s students. Brittney noted, “this is a great program that inspires and challenges the children and provides them with the opportunity to interact with successful and relatable professionals, and to learn, by example, how to overcome their own challenges in pursuit of their passions and goals.  We hope to inspire our students and challenge the way they see their futures.” Brittney is focused on giving back to MSV, the organization she grew up with. On February 7, 2020, Brittney will be a guest speaker on the Perri Small Show (WVON 1690 AM) during the Wintrust Financial segment to discuss the MSV annual career day for children program.
