Join Novack and Macey and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Chicago Lawyers Committee on Friday, July 30 at 12:00 pm CST for a free CLE event, “The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia Final Verdict on Genocide.” Former Trial Attorney Adam Weber will discuss the case of Prosecutor v. Ratko Mladić and the recent appeals verdict on the genocide counts.

Rebekah Parker, co-chair of the USMM Chicago Lawyers Committee, noted, "As the grandchild of Holocaust survivors, I am a longtime supporter of the Museum. It is important to be aware of the causes of genocide so that we can take action against any problematic behavior, regardless of the group being targeted. As an attorney, it is also interesting to see how the law can be used as a tool to combat genocide.”

Reservations are required. For more information, please contact Michelle Leon at mleon@ushmm.org.
