His presentation, "Real Estate Litigation: A Toolkit for Transactional Lawyers" will cover pre-litigation strategies and provide tips to preserve and improve the attorney/client relationship during litigation Topics include:

- Consider the limits of work-product protection and privilege in transactions
- Preservation of documents and evidence
- Understanding common triggers of real estate litigation
- Understanding choice of law and forum selection clauses
- Predicting outcomes risks and ranges/providing guidance to clients
Monte is co-chair of the firm's Real Estate Litigation Practice Group where he represents developers, owners, general and limited partners, brokers, landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, national retailers, portfolio managers, property and facilities managers, receivers, REITs and other industry players in complex disputes.
