Timothy J. Miller has been named General Counsel of Novack and Macey LLP. As General Counsel, he will advise the firm’s lawyers and the firm with respect to litigation or other claims in which the firm needs representation.
Mr. Miller has been an attorney with Novack and Macey for more than 20 years. He will continue to represent clients as a partner with the firm. Although he has represented clients in litigation and arbitration involving a wide range of issues. Mr. Miller has focused his practice on professional liability, especially defense of legal malpractice actions.
Mr. Miller graduated from Alma College, summa cum laude, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He graduated from the Duke University Law School with High Honors in 1985 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Miller served as the managing editor of the Duke Law Journal.
His bar admissions include Illinois, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the Northern District of Indiana and the Western District of Michigan.
