Partner Kristen Werries Collier Is One of Illinois’ Top “40 under Forty” Attorneys

Novack and Macey LLP partner Kristen Werries Collier has been selected as one of the 40 most talented attorneys under age 40 in Illinois.  The “40 under Forty” honorees are selected each year by the Chicago Law Bulletin’s publishers and featured in a special supplement to the Chicago Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer magazine.  PDF   

Kristen was elevated to partner in 2011.  She has been with the firm since 1999.  Kristen represents clients in complex matters involving contract actions, business torts, partnership disputes, professional negligence defense, real estate, energy, trusts and estates.  She practices in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings nationwide. 

Kristen was also recognized earlier this year as an Illinois Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine.  She is a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee, a firm Delegate to the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law and a member of the Coalition’s Board of Directors.  She is a Luminary Circle member of Step Up Women’s Network, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting and advancing women and girls.

Kristen is a 1999 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review and National Moot Court Team, and received a Rickert Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy.  Kristen also has a Masters of Public Administration degree from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
