Katie M. Krickbaum concentrates her practice in commercial litigation.
Katie has had significant experience in federal and state court. Before joining Novack and Macey, Katie worked in Des Moines, Iowa as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division. She has also worked in private practice in Chicago, both at a large international law firm and at a white collar criminal defense boutique. Katie has represented individuals and corporations in complex civil litigation and appeals, during federal grand jury investigations, at trial, and during sentencing proceedings.
Katie served as a law clerk to Judge Michael J. Melloy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and to Judges Virginia M. Kendall and Robert M. Dow, Jr., on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Katie is a member of the Illinois and Iowa bars. She lives in the northern suburbs with her husband and young daughter.
