Timothy J. Miller, partner and general counsel at Novack and Macey LLP, has been named to the faculty of a two-day seminar presented by the Practising Law Institute (PLI).
The seminar is entitled, “Outsourcing 2016: ITO, BPO and Cloud” and will be held September 26-27, 2016 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive. Tim will present “Ethics Issues in Negotiating Sourcing Deals, including (1) zealous representation within the bounds of the law; (2) puffery vs. false statements: where the line is drawn; (3) limits on communications with adverse parties; and (4) cross-border and multijurisdictional negotiations.
The seminar is for attorneys and compliance professionals who are involved with sourcing agreements. Participants can earn up to one hour of ethics credit.
