Founded in 1961, the Sue Duncan Children’s Center has transformed the lives of children by nurturing their academic, athletic, and artistic growth. The Center services children in grades pre-K through 12 at two locations on Chicago’s south side. 100% of the children who attend show measurable progress with their grades, test scores, behavior, self-esteem, and planning for the future.

The “Fall Fete” will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at The Drake Hotel located at 140 E. Walton Place in Chicago. Join us for an evening of cocktails, live music, and buffet-style dining with established and emerging philanthropists passionate about contributing to the education of inner-city children. Attended by an average of 250 guests, the attire is business/cocktail and festivities include beer and wine tastings and a live auction.

Partner John Haarlow, Jr. serves as a member of the Foundation Board of the Sue Duncan Children's Center. John said, "as a father of three, I know how important education is for children at all grade levels. I'm proud to be a part of this organization and appreciative of my firm for supporting its program year after year."
