Novack and Macey LLP partner John Haarlow, Jr. has been selected by Law Bulletin Media as one of the 40 most talented young attorneys in Illinois for 2017. The “Forty Under 40” honorees are selected each year by the Law Bulletin’s publishers and featured in a special supplement to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin newspaper and Chicago Lawyer magazine. This year, over 1,500 attorneys across Illinois were nominated for this award. According to “Forty Under 40,” to be named to the list requires intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help the community and a willingness to work hard.

John was recognized for his quick wit, professionalism and dedication to his clients’ needs. In the publication, John is described as “stunningly effective” and “destined to be a prize litigator.”  The firm's co-founding partner Eric Macey said, "John is a great attorney, highly respected by his colleagues and peers, and clients enjoy working with him. He's involved in the community and is a real asset to our firm.”

John joins Joshua Liebman (2016), Richard G. Douglass (2013), Kristen Werries Collier (2011) and Monte L. Mann (2005) as “Forty Under 40” recipients at Novack and Macey.
