Miller and Liebman Publish Article on Conflicts of Interest
December 2nd, 2009
Novack and Macey attorneys Richard L. Miller II and Joshua E. Liebman have authored an article featured in the December 2009 issue of the Illinois Bar Journal. It is entitled “When Can You Defend Both a Corporation and Its Officers?” It addresses the concerns that attorneys and their clients should have when counsel is asked to represent, in the same litigation, both a corporation and its officers. As the article explains, existing and potential conflicts of interests should be carefully considered before the attorney appears on behalf of both types of clients.
