Kristen Werries Collier

Kristen Werries Collier was featured recently in an article entitled ”If I Knew Then What I Know Now,” which appeared in the 2012 “40 Under Forty Illinois Lawyers to Watch” magazine. The September 2012 publication is a supplement to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and the Chicago Lawyer. Ms. Collier was recognized in 2011 as an Illinois lawyer under 40 to watch. In the article, she stated, in part:

“Professionalism, ‘people skills’ and networking are integral tools in the practice of law, but they are not emphasized in law school,” Ms. Collier said.”Fortunately, when I started at Novack and Macey in 1999, my mentors stressed the importance of those related skills and helped me to hone them.
