Three Novack and Macey partners who are graduates of the University of Illinois College of Law recently conducted mock interviews of second-year law students at the College as part of a program to help students hone their interview skills. Steven J. Ciszewski, Richard L. Miller II and Christopher S. Moore each interviewed two students.
Stacey L. Foland, Associate Director of Career Planning and Professional Development at the College, said Novack and Macey was one of 18 law firms and government organizations participating in the mock interview program. “The program is designed to give students an opportunity to improve their interview skills, learn more about the Chicago legal market, and to give employers an opportunity to raise their profile among the College’s student body,” Ms. Foland said.
“It was our pleasure meeting with the students,” Mr. Ciszewski said. ”They were all very well prepared, had great credentials and made confident presentations. We also enjoyed talking more informally about working in Chicago and reminiscing about our law school days over lunch.”
